Once Upon a Time...
there was a little girl who loved paper...
She dreamed of one day opening her very own little shop where she could buy paper,
play with paper and share her love of paper with friends.

My "pretty" little witch

Maddie had a "Halloween" themed birthday party to go to today. The poor birthday girl's yard got rained out last night so it turned into a Ten Pin Bowling - Halloween themed party - we didn't panic though - Jordan had spider socks at the ready to complete Maddie's outfit! Her shoes covered the actual spiders but you get the idea. We wrapped up the presents in red paper and then covered them with "web", a rubber spider and red ribbon - the birthday girl loved it! Oh and Maddie had a pretty wonderful time too!

The pitfalls of having a BIG sister!

Madeleine was SO busted tonight. I walked into the loungeroom to find her playing "hairdressers" on her little brother. When asked how she got him to sit there she said "I just told him I was making his hair spiky!" Jordy seemed to be enjoying it until I showed him the first photo on my camera whereby he promptly starting pulling them out! Actually it brings back memories of what Susan and I did to our poor baby brother - we even added makeup and because there were two of us one held him while the other grabbed the lippy! Too funny!

Madeleine's BIG weekend!

Madeleine danced with her ballet group at the Port Macquarie Eisteddfod on Friday, then again on Saturday and then we raced back to Taree for her to perform in a concert to raise money to build a Conservatorium of Music in Taree. The poor little thing waited for HOURS to go on for their 2 min dance (one each day after an hour's drive to get there and then another hour to get home) and then Saturday afternoon (after we had raced back from Port Macq to Wingham to change and then back to Taree)she had to sit and wait for over an hour to go on at the concert at 4:15pm - she was the youngest performer there by at least 6 years! I was so exhausted and I am sure she was too but it didn't phase her. She performed like a seasoned champion and we are oh so proud of our little 7 year old with stars in her eyes! The photos are of her in the dance "Strawberry Kisses" then a traditional clapping dance (red Danish looking outfit) and then she sang "Bippity Boppity Boo" so is dressed as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella.
